Katalox, or Mexican Ebony, is one of the strongest woods within the world. It has a beautiful dark brown or purple heartwood with a stunning light brown sapwood contrast, making each katalox piece unique. Some truly unique pieces, like this one, have dots displaying in the sapwood as well as the heartwood. Two toned katalox is exceedingly limited, and this art piece is a stunning joy to work with.
