Every Myrtlewood hook has its own personality and characteristics. This spectacular crochet hook is handcrafted from a piece of gorgeous and limited stock of Oregon grown myrtlewood, making each stitch feel special.

Myrtlewood is renowned throughout the Pacific Northwest for its beautiful color, spicy aroma, and figure. Also known as Bay Laurel, California Olive, Pepper wood, or Spice tree, this versatile hardwood grows only in Oregon and Northernmost California. Colors range drastically even in the same log, so a wide range of color from golden yellow, green, black, brown, tan, and violet can exist.
