Ebony wood is a very beautiful, hard and dense wood from West Africa. The heartwood is a uniform jet black or black/brown color, while the sapwood can be pink or a pale auburn color. The crochet hooks glide through any yarn and has a natural shine to it, due to the natural oils within the wood. We strive to source pieces of Ebony that are different, and have slight variants of color to showcase the versatility of this stunning wood.
This specific crochet hook has a little dark brown coloration on the bottom, making this hook even more amazing.
