Myrtlewood is renowned throughout the Pacific Northwest for its excellent finishing properties as well as its beautiful colors, spicy aroma, and figure. Colors, influenced by the minerals in the soil, range drastically even in the same log so that a range of color from golden yellow, green, black, brown, tan, and violet can exist.
